| 8478 | 2001-02-08 04:06:00 | I read the article in the latest PC World about usenet and used Outlook to connect to a number of useful looking groups. I set it downloading and went to bed and looked in the morning. Plenty of messages as described but no full 'sets' so I figured the missing message parts would be in the next postings. 5 nights and 3 GB's of files later (luckily I have a fast hug connection) and not one complete message to recompile! I get file 1/7, 3/7, 4/7, 7/7 or similar. I set Outlook to synchronise 'All messages' but I seem to miss many of the posts? Looking throught Outlook help it would seem that Outlook does the conversion into files 1-7 and therefore they should all be posted at the same time. What am I doing wrong? |
