| 8453 | 2001-02-07 21:27:00 | I'm having a problem, admittedly a minor one,but annoying all the same. Those neat little personalized icons that appear on some web sites when you add them to your favorites only last a few days and then revert to the standard blue E on a white document, does this have anything to do with deleting temporary internet files through Disk clean-up? Any help apperciated. Thanks Allyn. | Guest (0) | ||

One way you could try to get around this is by locating the icon in the cache and moving it to a different folder (perhaps windows\cursors), then go to the favorites folder, find the internet shortcut for that site, right click and go to 'properties', click on the 'Web Document' tab then 'Change Icon'. Browse to the folder with the favicon.ico, select, click OK. HTH |
