But, if I use a bootup disk then into Windows at Win it says VFAT Device Initialization Failed - Device or resource required by VFAT is not present or is unavailable. VFAT cannot continue loading, System halted. HELP PLEASE |

| 8608 | 2001-02-11 10:42:00 | Hello Ken DMI pool errors are usually pretty severe, in your case the corrupted vfat is one sympton, go to the following link for info to rectify the vfat problem, however this may still leave the DMI problem and your easiest solution may just be to reformat and reload Windows, there are a few other things you can try if your PC will start in Safe Mode (sometimes you can sometimes you can't)but in my experience it's far quicker to reformat and start again.
