| 8601 | 2001-02-11 08:26:00 | I have just replaced my Cd-Rom with a CD-W so that i can down load data and or copy CDs when i ask the computer to save in this drive it tells me that i cant i have to have permission, what am i doing wrong. | Guest (0) | ||
| 8602 | 2001-02-11 09:33:00 | Hi Alan, I'm guessing here but most likely there was some special software that came with the CDRW drive that you need to use to copy files onto a CDR disk. Most CDRW drives don't let you use Windows Explorer to copy files or save from applications directly to the CDR; you have to use the special software (Easy CD Creator is a common one) that came with the drive. |

| 8603 | 2001-02-14 06:41:00 | Sorry dude..that's not how cd writer works....u are trying to use it like a floppy drive right?? CD writers are for u to copy are whole lot of files or a complete CD at ONE GO. U put in a blank disk and use CDw programs to burn them on to the cd.....Unless ur cd is a cdrw datas once burnt on to the cd it can not be deleted or changed. Hope this helps : ) |
