| 8582 | 2001-02-11 00:58:00 | You have either put something magnetic close to your monitor (maybe your pc speakers? and that's causing the distortion or you have somehow reset or altered the size and position settings on the monitor. There should be a small booklet/manual that came with the monitor. This will tell you how to reset the vertical/horizontal positioning. | Guest (0) | ||
| 8583 | 2001-02-11 02:01:00 | Hiya, Generally you will find rainbow-coloured splotches if something magnetic like speakers are placed next to the screen, it won't distort the picture in the way you described. I would suggest turning the monitor off and unplugging it from the mains for a while, then switching it back on and as James suggested, altering your monitor settings to get the screen centered. Most monitors have settings to change the horizontal and vertical aspects. HTH, Matt |
