However I think the problem is almost certainly linked to the Scandisk problem you have, normally if your system was running OK and you suddenly get ''invalid system disk errors'' especially combined with Scandisk problems,it is almost certainly a sympton of a dying/faulty hard drive. You could try starting up in Safe mode and seeing if you can complete scan disk running in that environment,if you can't your drive needs to be checked by a computer technician,as it is almost certainly faulty and it will be very prudent to backup any valuable data as quick as possible as I have seen drives die very quickly after displaying the sort of errors mentioned. regards Alan |
