When i installed my modem on my new com, it installed it into com port 4, i was wondering how i could change it back to port 2 instead.
Any ideas would be strongly appreciated |

To configure an installed modem, open the Modems Properties dialog box [start > settings > control panel > double click modems] and on the 'general tab' will be listed your modem: click the Properties button and then enter the changes you want. Click 'okay' then 'close'. It may be necessary to restart your system. (Changes to the Port, Speaker volume, or Maximum speed, may be made here.) |

disable com 2 in the bios, you may have to reinstall the modem but it should jump to com 2 |
