| 8863 | 2001-02-17 12:54:00 | i just got hold of a new athlon t-bird 1 ghz, but i did not purchase a new floppy drive with it as i used my old FUCNTIOING a: on my new com. When i try to access my a: it tells me that it is not accessible and that the device is not ready. I'm currently using windows 98se. Any comments or ideas would be appreciated, thx |

To access the BIOS, restart the computer and look for a message telling you which key to press, it should be either Del, Esc, F1, F2, or F10. Change the floppy drive setting to 1.44', save and exit. If it still can't find the drive then open the case and check that the cables are firmly attached. |
