| 9011 | 2001-02-21 00:12:00 | As a new user of Win 98 and IE 5.5 and OE5.5 I am confused when a download is almost complete and up comes the Open With box asking me to select which program to use. I never know what to choose. I have tried using logic and selecting Word or whatever seems appropriate without success. I cannot find any reference in Help or manuals. Consequently I have a lot of downloads which havent completely installed or I cannot use. Solution please? Vicki |

| 9012 | 2001-02-21 00:37:00 | more than likely you dont have a program installed that can open these files,If you can tell us the file extension , eg: .pdf or .xls I'm sure someone will tell you the program required to open it. cheers Steve |

| 9013 | 2001-02-21 04:14:00 | Hello Vicki You don't say what kind of files you have been downloading, my guess, if they are software is .zip files if that is the case either download Winzip or my preference Gozilla which is a Download manager and unzipper and virus scanner all in one. Go to www.gizmo.net for Gozilla or winzip.com for winzip. Regards Alan |
