| 9001 | 2001-02-20 23:07:00 | Hi, I have been trying to get my partner to send me a MYOB file as an attachment to an email. The attachment is 3MB in size and she is using Outlook express as the email software. She is running Win 98 as the OS. What I receive is a whole sequence of separate enails with a text file attached. The first attempt got me 47 emails in my inbox. We have tried compressing the file using Winzip but the problem persists although the sequence of emails is shorter. What gives? Is there some way of preventing this occuring? Are there some settings in outlook which need changing or is there some size limitation on attachments imposed by Xtra our ISP? Alternatively can I put Humpty Dumpty back together again, reassembling the MYOB file from the sequence of text files ? Any ideas would be appreciated. |

When I used Netscape I had some attachments come through in the body of the message when they were sent by Outlook or Outlook Express. Not sure if this is your problem but see if you can download the email via webmail from your ISP. This will determine if it is a problem at your end or the senders. HTH CJ |
