9023 2001-02-21 04:11:00 I have recently started getting a lot of 'This page Can Not Be Displayed' error messages. Refresh, clear Temp Intenet Files & Clear History do not fix. Running W2K & IE5.5 +SP1. Have re-installed TCP/IP to no avail.

Any suggestions?

9024 2001-02-23 04:02:00 I suggest checking your modem is connecting a the normal speed you usually get. Ie. if you normally get 52kbs connections and it's now 30kb, you have line problems. Otherwise make sure it is not your ISP. Does it happen at certain times of the day? Ie. peak times. If so, change ISP's. Guest (0)
9025 2001-02-23 06:26:00 Modem speeds are constant 52K. What is there at the ISP end which could cause the problem? Have not noticed pattens/time of day etc but will look out.

I wondered if it was a IE5.5 problem. MS Knowledgebase indicates TC/IP causing these problems in win 98 but there is no reference to the same cause in W2K

9026 2001-02-25 08:09:00 I've been getting a lot of that lately, since I made the mistake of switching from i4free to their supposedly superior Slingshot 'service' which costs $15/month.

I still use Voyager and never have trouble connecting through them, so it's the ISP.

9027 2001-02-26 05:04:00 Thanks, I will start with the ISP. Had thought it might have been TC/Ip
