| 9284 | 2001-03-03 23:26:00 | No, it sounds more like some program is continually accessing your cpu. Programs like your anivirus, screen saver, auto email checker etc. I use ENDITALL before defraging. This prog stops all running programs except iexplorer and sys tray. Remember, it is not unusual for the defragging to halt for a while at 10%, just be patiant. I always do a disc scan before defragging and restart my computer after. |
