| 9272 | 2001-02-26 23:42:00 | Yesterday afternoon my PC hung while I was checking email. On rebooting the logical drive D: had disappeared. The PC is a Compaq about six months old. The physical Drive 1 of 13G is divided into C: of 2G and D: of 11G. Both were FAT32. I have looked at it with fdisk and there is no drive letter showing for the partition (only *:). PartitionMagic can see the spare space as both Primary Ectended and Logical Free Space. Has anyone any suggestion of how I can recover the data ie reinstate the drive letter and presumably regenerate the FAT. Thanks |
