My thunderbird 1000MHz with 256MB ram has trouble playing startup waves. The wave files skips like a cd player when shaked, however it has no trouble playing cds, mp3s, etc once Windows 98SE is loades. I dont have a lot of progs to load at startup. |

YEah i do - Norton Antivirus 2001. However someone told me if i enabled DMA support in My Computers ==> Properties for all my HD and CD it would solve the problem, i tried that and it worked!!! Give it a go and tell me if it works on yours too. |
