| 9210 | 2001-02-26 07:52:00 | 1. how easy is it to install a hard drive 2. Should I ghost my old hard drive - am I able to do this? 3. Does windows need to be installed on the new hard drive? Any reponses and other advice when getting a new hard drive appreciated. cheers |

| 9211 | 2001-02-26 08:57:00 | 1 yes 2 depends on if u are replacing old drive or adding a xtra one. if you are replacing old drive then nortons ghost does an excellent job. it copies exact replaca of your drive however if your old drive has corrupted files it would be best to start from stratch. 3 not if its a slave get a 7200rpm or if u have a fast system check out raid controller boards. remember the hard drive is the slowest main part of a computer. |
