| 1271116 | 2012-04-21 20:34:00 | I have a dual-boot desktop with Windows 7 and Ubuntu (Natty Narwhal). Normally boots into either partition with no difficulty. This morning, an attempt to boot up Ubuntu gets the message: Try (hd0,0) NTFS5 no wubildr [Then ditto for "hd0,1" and hd0,2)] Cannot find GRLDR Has Ubuntu somehow been rendered non-operational? Or is there anything I can do to recover, short of reinstalling the operating system and all Ubuntu applications? And, if anyone has any idea - what could have caused this? Latter is a less important question; I am concerned chiefly with recovering Ubuntu and its applications with the least time and trouble. Thanks |
