| 1270989 | 2012-04-20 13:35:00 | Recently my W7 backup has "failed while trying to read from the shadow copy on one of the volumes being backed up." During the backup MS Security Essentials advises of Exploit:Java/Blacole.ET, which it successfully clears. Or so it says! Having googled the error message and it seems I am far from alone with this backup problem. The answers seem confused. I ensured there are no earlier versions of Java still loaded - which was one comment about the virus. The backup bug remains. Any suggestions about how to get it to work again? Thanks. :thanks Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB Graphics ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Primary hard disk SSD 64GB Windows 7 Home Premium |

And you can get hacked, by using old versions of Java And make sure you install 6 update 31 or 7 update 3. These are the latest versions of Java. After you uninstall the old version download ccleaner and delete the temp files Go here for the backup error (support.microsoft.com) |
