How can I fix a messed up email like this before I send it on to the next person so they don't think I'm stupid. In the pass I took 5 or 10 minutes and hand did this but now I have a long one. For starters is there any way I can start by deleting the >> all at once?

1270270 2012-04-15 20:34:00 In Replace (I'm using Outlook 2010) find > and replace with nothing. Have a look - most programmes will have something similar. R.M. (561)
1270271 2012-04-15 21:57:00 Yeah, I was going to suggest similar, and if you can also do a search for the CR / line feed code and replace that as well it'll all come out better.

Word gives the option to replace the spare lines with single spaces if you can't get what you want from your email app.

1270272 2012-04-20 21:31:00 The best little program I have managed to locate on old IBM pc is eCleaner.

Just tried it on XP SP3 and it works, don't know about W7 and I dare not play with wifey's machine.

Have a friend who sends plenty of emails with >>> in them, so now when I forward them I will cut and paste to eCleaner and clean it and cut and paste back to email.

Will tell the friend about this program as well and stop the >>> at source, lol.

Smithie, where does it hide after downloading?

Don't want either Babylon Toolbar or Hotspot, is this why it doesn't appear anywhere?

Ps. will stick with eCleaner, at least it appears under Programs.

I have had emailStripper for years. The icon is on my desktop and is listed in my programs.

To be sure I just uninstalled it and redownloaded the program and there is no sign of those unwanted items you mention.

I find this program very easy to use and just submitted it as an alternative for lostsoul

Yes it downloads to the Desktop, when activated it has the Babylon box ticked so don't want that "unticked", then it "recommends" Hotspot which I do not want, from there nothing happens.

Like you I will stick with eCleaner here.

Thanks anyway.
