"renaming Christmas so that people from the many different cultures represented in New Zealand don’t feel marginalised by the Christian festival" They may not believe in it, but they are still happy to have the paid holiday. 1248331	2011-12-13 08:26:00	Happened in Australia with Harvey Normans when they cancelled Santa in some of there stores so as not to offend various religious groups / cultures that might / don't believe in Xmas. While Muslims were not identified directly, many assumed it was because of Muslim customers who might be offended visiting a HN store with Santa on display. After a backlash from customers, Santa was reinstated at selected stores.	PinoyKiw (9675)
