| 1247372 | 2011-12-07 02:12:00 | I told the Winz "consultant" that we would be wasting everyone's time they referred or If I accepted work my body couldn't do, She smirked, told me I couldn't refuse a job and if I did for medical reasons would be bounced onto the sickness benefit. I think the smirk was because she saw an easy out, bounce me onto a another system, she gets a tick in her box of cases successfully handled. Funny enough there were 20 or so people in the room looking lazy and unwashed that should have been put on shovels immediately. One guy was in the process of getting dental work paid for because he was having drinks with his grandmothers new boyfriend and he got a punch in the mouth. Anyhow, They offered to relocate me and my entire family to ChCh if I could get a job interview down there, This was 6 months before the first quake and came out of nowhere. Neither ChCh or relocation had been mentioned, Again I think they were just looking for an easy out, relocate the job seeker as far away as possible (with tax payer funds). What sort of moron would relocate their family for a job interview.... Sounded like a scam to me to move bludgers around the country while pretending they were achieving something. |

I asked if I moved back to Akld would they assist in any way, yes they said, and quoted the Up to $1500 for job-placement assistance or the $300 for job-seeking asisistance. Stuck it on the CC instead and moved properly out of the house sale money........ |

Got 4 weeks worth of cash and then I am in the ****..... Winz is a last resort but it won't stop us losing the house or defaulting on most of the bills |

Never fear, Job interview on Monday, Though If the hours and pay aren't where I want them to be then I'll pass. Its an hour commute each way so its going to cost me. |
