It's only a matter of time till they costs come down, in 5 odd years it will be a common sight (it will not be a household norm in our lifetimes). Just imagine the power bill. Maybe I was wrong: Samsung Transparent TV (www.youtube.com) and Transparent Laptop (www.youtube.com) The future is here!:D |

My first question with the window would have been "can it be seen from the other side" but looking at the laptop one, I see it isnt, very very cool! |

That's pretty cool but don't buy a device with Cornings V2 if you want a stronger screen, the whole focus is on 20% stronger and therefore being able to be 20% thinner which means the glass wont actually be any stronger unless thicker glass is used. |

I know, I was just mentioning it in case anyone had any ideas of purchasing a gorilla glass device with the idea that it would be 20% tougher than the current CGG I love GG, I still don't get why apple persist with their silly edge to edge glass design, it breaks so easily. Being a student I see a LOT of people stoked with their new 4th gen or later iDevice. A week or later they come back to me with the whole front screen crushed asking me to fix it. Only 3x people I know have galaxys. My mum's one is the only one that I can confirm that has a rough life. She's working overseas with the Aussie and NZ military. Still no reports of damage, last I heard she couldn't figure out how to make it sync again :p I don't know if Apple are using GG but if they are they are doing it wrong. Very wrong, SII VS 4S www.youtube.com |

The iPhones have some other strengthened glass, but it's got nothing on Gorilla Glass. I've taken to mine with scissors and a stanley knife / box knife, and it's still perfect :D |
