1270867 2012-04-19 20:17:00 For some reason samba is playing up

Once bootup has finished, none of the other computers can connect to the share; although if I /etc/init.d/samba restart; everything is fine

Using Debian unstable

note: this is only a minor annoyance I generally reboot once every so often - but something I would like to fix

1270868 2012-04-19 23:11:00 Is the daemon running prior to you restarting it? Chilling_Silence (9)
1270869 2012-04-20 00:32:00 Samba logging is usually pretty verbose, there should be something there to give a clue as to what is going on.

'/etc/init.d/samba status' should answer Chill's question.
