| 9338 | 2001-02-28 00:30:00 | Has anyone else here who is still on the d/l limit for the Satnet connection had problems with their billing? For January I d/l just over 3Gb, whereas they say I d/l 11Gb. I just wish to know whether anyone else has been in this predicament. It means a hefty $800.00 bill which I am 'forced' to pay, otherwise 20% penalty, plus an attack on my good credit rating. thanks |

| 9340 | 2001-03-01 16:25:00 | Three factors make me sure that I did not d/l the amount in question. Firstly, I mostly go only to one site, which has a download counter. For the month of January it said 3.1Gb was d/l. Secondly, I have been connected to this service for many years and my surfing patterns ae constant. Suddenly I am told I sent twice the amount of time on the internet ... 700 hours. And thirdly, I had about 4Gb left on the HDD, physically imppossible to add 11 Gb to this without knowing. In the end, I paid up and closed the account |
