9570 2001-03-05 07:27:00 I wish to update the Bios on my motherboard. It is a Gigabyte 7ZX with twin Bios. The instructions require a floppy to be formatted in Dos as 'format A:/s'. Unfortunately my ME O/S says 'sorry son you can't do that any more'. I have formatted a disc on another machine running Windows '95. Can I use this? If so are there any special requirements? Will the update do both Bios chips? Thanks in anticipation.
Tom.

9571 2001-03-05 09:14:00 cheak out www.ping.be/bios/
disk should be ok. the main thing is that it is free of scrap data before you copy the new bios and flash utility onto it. tips- use a u.p.s, turn off any mother board virus cheakers, turn off any bios cacheable/shadow rom settings.
i don't know about the dual bios, i havn't needed to flash a dual one yet.
