9547 2001-03-04 09:28:00 Recentely I bought a new motherboard with soundcard on board. I also have a tv tuner card as well modem offcourse. The problem I am having is if I want to watch tv on my pc, I have plug my speaker into tv-tuner card. If I want to use my soundcard I have to plug my speaker into soundcard speaker outlet. On my soundcard I have one outlet for speaker, one for headphone and other for microphone. on my tv-tuner one outlet for speaker and two inlet, one for audio and other for video. On my modem one speaker outlet and one microphone inlet.

Is there any way I can plug them so I don't have to keep unpluging from one outlet and plug into other outlet.

Ideally, your motherboard sound card should support some kind of line in, not just Mic. If so you can then get a cable to run the output from your tv card to the line-in on the sound card and it can mix it for you. Guest (0)
