9508	2001-03-03 07:45:00	How do I copy win2000 from one laptop to another laptop and have it working. I have used Norton Ghost but get the kernel errors with blue screen that I can't even get to safe mode. Although this works with win95/98. Thanks in advance.	Guest (0)
9509	2001-03-06 03:02:00	Hi Raymond, obviously the hardware configuration of the two machines is drastically different. If you do find identical machines to clone you will also need to use a tool from microsoft called sysprep which will strip off the computer's GUID (globally unique identifier) before imaging/cloning. I doubt this will help in this case due to the fact that you cant even boot win2k. You might want to try uninstalling all the devices through the management console prior to cloning in the hope that it will then re-detect all the devices. ACPI management will likely be your biggest hurdle. good luck.	Guest (0)
