| 9734 | 2001-03-08 23:06:00 | I have an AMDk6/2/500 on a jetway motherboard, 8gb & 1.6gb drives. Every so often I lose the smaller drive.It works fine from dos, but win98 will run it in msdos mode. Windows tells me I have a generic type 46 & 80.The smaller drive(80) is on the second ide and just disappears. Any ideas would really help. | Guest (0) | ||
| 9735 | 2001-03-09 04:25:00 | A suggestion. If you have a CDRom - swap the small HD to the second connector on IDE1 and configure as slave, and put the CDRom on IDE2. |
