I'm trying to uninstall Win 2000 and reformat my hard drive. However I can't work out how. Win 2000 refuses to boot in Dos and if booted off a dos boot disk won't display any drive other than the a:/ Obviously format won't run inside win2000. What's the trick? |

Just use a Dos boot disk (not NT type). and run fdisk.exe then format.com |

You can not just use fdisk - win2000 has hidden partitions to remove cleanly boot from the windows 2000 cd rom and start a new install - when asks about partition to install you delete all and exit! |
