| 9660 | 2001-03-07 00:12:00 | When I cleaned up my hard disk I saved the address book to a Zip disk as a .pst file which I then imported back into Outlook 98 O.K. I would like to put a shortcut, to the Address Book, on the desktop but can't. Start/Programs/Accessories/Address Book gives an error message 'C:/etc.etc Outlook Express wab.exe is not a valid WIN32 File. I have tried the Find File and Windows Explorer but can't seem to be able to bring up a working Address Book. Ta for any help on this. |

| 9663 | 2001-03-07 09:42:00 | Hi Murray, I don't know anything about Outlook, but the address book in Outlook Express is a *.wab file which is stored in C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\. Perhaps your Outlook address book will be there and if it is, it should be a wab file - not a wab.exe If you find it, try renaming it (eg. Murray.wab) and then import the address book into Outlook. Don't know if this is any help because as I said, I don't use Outlook but good luck anyway. Cheers. Sharrea |
