9654 2001-03-06 12:43:00 Hi,
I have 2 computer at home with one running win95 and the other running win98.

Is there a way to move the files from the win95 computer to the win98 computer using floppy disks?
I've tried to access the A:\ drive in win98, but it just wouldn't read the disk (which contains files from my win95 computer).

Is it due to the difference of FAT of the 2 OS?

Thanks for help.

9655 2001-03-06 14:13:00 Are you using the same programme (e.g.microsoft word)to read the disk as it has been written in, or something different? Guest (0)
9656 2001-03-06 22:21:00 You can also use a serial or parallel cable connection. You can purchase these at stores such as Dick Smith. You will need to set up the direct cable connection, and related networking features to enable this.
As long as you are using the same application to source these files they should be readable on both machines.
