| 9819 | 2001-03-11 22:25:00 | I assume you can already access the internet since you made a posting, so the easiest way for windows 3.x, is to download Internet Explorer 3 for win3.x. It has built in TCP/IP stack and a dialer. You can get it from classic.tucows.com Of course it is limited in action compared to win9.x versions. If you need a 16 bit freeware e-mail client for win3.x, then a little known but excellent program is Foxmail. You can get this from www.simtel.net and get fmail16e.zip. There is also a 32 bit version of Foxmail for win9.x, much better than most other e-mail programs for home use. |
