| 9784 | 2001-03-10 14:59:00 | I am able to dial in to different ISP's, but once dialled-in my PC is unable to reach any sites on the Internet. I would assume there is no problem with the modem or the line as I am able to reach the ISP, but I can not get any further. The browser just says 'Finding www.yahoo.com...' etc. I have tried other Internet applications apart from my browser (e.g. Time clock applications, IRC, ICQ etc.), but with the same result. The modem looks like it isn't even polling, or very little (maybe it isn't getting a response??). It worked fine before, but the people don't know what they have done to change it. Is there something simple I am missing?? What should I be checking? I am using IE4.01 on a 33.6K external modem. I would be EXTREMELY appreciative of any help I could get. TIA. |
