| 9997 | 2001-03-14 11:09:00 | I am running Win98 and find that whenever my computer starts up now it stops at a window titled 'Programs'. There are no files visable in this window. The startup process then stops until you close the window, where-upon the process continues until the desktop display appears. I can find nothing untoward in either the Windows\Start folder or msconfig. Any ideas anyone? | Guest (0) | ||
| 9998 | 2001-03-15 22:17:00 | There is a neat little application I have found in my travels called StartupCPL which loads into your control panel, and gives you the option for turning off any application attempting to load at startup. Unfortunately I cannot remember where I found it from, but it is very small, and if you can supply me with an email address, I will happily mail it to you. | Guest (0) | ||
