| 10031 | 2001-03-15 02:26:00 | Why is it that my templates saved as metric open with inches as the measurement unit? In Control panel / regional settings / number / measurement system = metric. Win 98 Any ideas? |

Open Word, select Tools> Options>General Tab There should be a tab near the bottom called measurement units, set this to cm's, or whichever measurement that you wish to use. This should change the default, to the new setting. I am not sure that it will change your existing templates into the new default setting, or you will have to redesign them over, this time using the new measurement default. Hope this helps |

All extisting files written on the template will appear with whatever settings you currently are using e.g. Word file written in inches, then you change the word template settings to metric, when you open the file it will appear in metric. | Guest (0) | ||
