| 10122 | 2001-03-17 03:58:00 | I use Zone Alarm, but after many hassles with graphic and web dev progs, PShop6, DreamWvr4, FireWks4, 1stPage 2000, XaraX, the list is longer - menu dropdowns that freeze, clicking help freezing the prog, I have found via newsgroups, support sources etc., and my own system tinkering that ZoneAlarm is not so good at leaving installed progs alone. But I do not want to give up using ZAlarm as it has saved my bacon quite a few times. Is there any way I can start ZAlarm when any programme goes online, instead of having it load at boot? I have to turn it off to work with graphic and web dev files, and too often forget to turn it back on when I go on-line. I use winME, athlon1000, 256m ram, nvidia tnt2 card with 32m ram. |
