| 10088 | 2001-03-16 08:58:00 | I have been trying to install the usb supplement to my win95b and are having some problems. The error message I get when booting (after installing the sup) says initialising NTKERN , windows protection error you must restart your computer. The only way I can get back into windows is to go to safe mode and delete the usbsup. NTKERN file ver is 4.03.1212 My Main board is a A15VG+V1.0F, 500 AMD CPU, 64 MB SD RAM, 8 MB S3 Inc. Trio3D/2X AGP board. Can you shed any light to my problem Garry. |

| 10090 | 2001-08-20 23:27:00 | the version of ure mother board will only allow you to install win95b usb support version which is another release of 95 if u are already running this then i suggest trying windows 98 it is a well known fault with win95 and amd processors they just plain dont like them the fault you are describing is not just usb related it refers back to your cpu also there is a patch available on the microsoft site for the above error once installed if this does not correct the problem try win98 SE | Guest (0) | ||
