Internet explorer has become unstable. It frequently locks up and about 30 seconds after closing, produces the following:

IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in

10247 2001-03-20 07:22:00 Hi Craig,

I am assuming that you upgraded to IE 5.5 from IE 5.0?

My advice to you is uninstall IE 5.5 and all your problems will be solved.

10248 2001-03-24 22:21:00 Hey Graig
Another thing you could try is
go to:Start>
Programs>
accessories>
systemtools>
system information
Select from tools menu:
Internet explorer repair tool
Select 'repair interent explorer'
Hope this works...good luck.

10249 2001-03-25 00:04:00 Thanks for the suggestions guys. I've tried both but unfortunately the problem still exists. It seems that my computer is not unloading programs cleanly, once I've had trouble with ie, I then have trouble with other programs and eventually it ends in a blue screen of death and no response from the Bill Gates 3 finger salute(CTRL_ALT_DEL) Guest (0)
