| 10271 | 2001-03-20 19:36:00 | I was advised through this board sometime ago that this could be done. Have come to do it & have problems getting it to work. Have comnnected Vid out on PC to Vid in on TV. Presumably I now need to tune TV into PC? Not sure what settings to use. To start, do I tune into TV or AV? If TV which Band, UH, U, UL? Is there any way to test that there is actually a signal coming into the TV & there are no hardware problems? Currently TV has a blank screen when on AV or the usual no signal when on TV. Have searched for a signal on AV & TV (all bands)without sucess Thanks |

If it's an RCA plug, then plug it into the video-in connector on the telly -you wont need to tune the telly to use it this way, simply set it to AV. If it's in black and white then the computer is outputing NTSC, your telly will likely use PAL colour. If you have done this and can't see anything, the card may not be sending the signal. If this is the case then you will need to go into your Advanced video properties, to enable the second connector. |
