| 10243 | 2001-03-20 06:49:00 | Can anyone confirm (or deny) whether Partition Magic 5 will work under Windows ME, and are there any problems or issues to be wary of. Thanx |

Windows ME uses the Fat 32 file system which Partition Magic can handle. The only problem you may encounter is the Setup program may refuse to install itself under Windows ME. This can be solved by either upgrading to Partition Magic 6, or by using a boot disk and using the Dos version that comes with version 5. Hope this helps. Bruce Flyger |

My Windows ME is a factory install (I only have a recovery disk) so will it still work the same by creating a boot disk via Add/Remove programs, startup disk etc, given I understand that Windows ME doesnt support DOS ? (Hence my original question because I know PM works via DOS). |
