| 10395 | 2001-03-25 01:14:00 | I have Windows ME, and I wish to partition my harddrive so that I can have ME on one and Windows 98 on the other. I can partition the harddrive, but how dow I boot into the various windows? | Guest (0) | ||

Because WinMe works off the 98 kernel it can't be done. Or at least I haven't been able to find any info that says you can. I would love some one to tell me otherwise as I want to be able to do it without installing a second harddrive. Hope someone comes up with a solution. Cheers Billy C. |

A good one to use is XOSL (standing for eXended Operating System Loader). It is graphical and easy to install and use and it is freeware (http://www.xosl.org). Don't be concerned about the warnings on the home page - it works well. Install your two OSs on separate partitions then install XOSL. Hope this helps. |
