| 10333 | 2001-03-22 11:43:00 | About 3mths ago, on recommendation by McAffee Virus Scan Central's Update page, I downloaded the McAffee P.F on a free trial period. That period has since, long expired, BUT this message appears everytime turn my computer on: Internet Explorer Script Error Line: 81 Char: 3 Error: Error in loading DLL:'G_Reg.IniGet Value' Code = 0 URL = mcp://C\PROGRA~1\MCAFEE.COM\MPF\MCAFEEPF.U1::expiry.htm Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes/No Actions taken: Emailed McAfee Tech: No response. Emailed NZ Netguide Editor: No response. Tried to uninstall it: Error messaged! I'm not a Doogie Howser when it comes to computers, seeing this message appear everytime I turn my computer on is.......well, one can imagine ones frustrations. Any assistance will be greatly and utterly appreciated. Thanks |

| 10334 | 2001-03-25 11:16:00 | You will need to go to Control Panel/Add\Remove and remove the app other wise you will need to either download a freeware cleanup app or as a last resort go into the Registry [if you are confident to do so - backup the reg. first] or con a geek friend to help you with the registry |
