I keep getting a error saying that I have run out of space on drive C:, but I still have over 4 GB of a 9.5 GB drive remaining. Is there a limit on how many files Win98 can cope with on a FAT32 drive? |

Maybe you should partition the drive into 2 parts |

Suggest u scandisk and defrag as sometimes errors cause windows to report the drive size incorrectly. Also get a utility such as Fixit utilities and run a Regeditor and clean out all the rubbish REGULARLY |

...to stop receiving this message (which in all likelihood in your case is an error) try the following -
Go: Start > Programmes > Accessories > System Tools > Disc Clean-up. Select 'C' drive > click Okay. Then click Settings and clear the check box 'if this drive runs low on space automatically run Disc Clean Up.' |
