10296 2001-03-21 22:19:00 Scheduler should defag my machine each morning, however all it does is open the window asking which drive I want defragged. It doesn't do any more until I select C Drive. Where in the registory (I suspect) can I change the settings to automatically select C drive.

Thanks

10297 2001-03-22 00:10:00 In Program Scheduler, select the scandisk and choose edit.
In the command line it should say C:\WINDOWS\Scandskw.exe

add /n to start and close automatically.

add /a to scan all fixed drives.

add /p to prevent automatic correction to errors.

So your command line should read C:\WINDOWS\Scandskw.exe /a /n /p

for optimum performance.

Good luck

10298 2001-03-22 00:50:00 Well I typed it in using the forward slash / the system converted them into a backward slash \ so I got
C:\WINDOWS\DEFRAG.EXE\n\a

It won't run. Is this write?
