| 10285 | 2001-03-21 19:24:00 | I recently installed XQXSetup on to my Win98se system. I like it and most of the changes it makes. However I have probably made a mistake somewhere that I can't sort out. In Windows I click on VIEW/large icons in, say,control Panel and I get large icons everywhere. If I click on view/details in, say, window explorer I get details everywhere,including control panel, my computer,etc. All the windows settings are correct,so it must be something in xqxsetup. It's got me buggered. Any suggestions welcome, Jack. |

| 10286 | 2001-03-23 05:43:00 | Hi Jack If you open a folder with windows explorer and chage the view of that folder you are really changing explorers view of the folder and all folders opened by explorer.If however you right click a folder including my computer and select open you will get the folders chosen view of it'self, if you change that view it will not effect the other folders as long as 'remember each folders view settings' is checked in folder options/view. I dont know about XQXsetup but I suspect the same will apply. Regards PC. |
