| 10489 | 2001-03-26 20:49:00 | After cleaning up the mess a hacker made of my system I was able to restore most of the registry using Tweekie. However my Floppy Drive will no longer write to disc. It reads OK and will write in DOS. Gave up and tried to re-install Windows 95 from the CD. The system refused to recognise my registration code as valid. Can anyone suggest an alternative to cleaning off the hard disc and re-installing the lot? It will write to the floppy when up-dating Norton Utilities Boot Dics!! Regard Tom |

Re floppy drive; yes is the answer, at least I bought the system in good faith and have no reason to doubt the retailers, though a small co are honest enough. I used the number on the gaudy cert. pasted on the front of the Win 95 booklet. 'Introducing Windows 95' Thanks again Tom |
