10628 2001-03-29 10:43:00 after upgrade win98 to winme I have to type the password every time I log on. How do I change that? Guest (0)
10629 2001-03-29 11:27:00 I can't remember how to do it but the last issue of PCWorld
(I think) had an article in it that dealt with removing the logon password.

10632 2001-03-30 07:48:00 Try this.

Open 'My Computer' and from there open 'Dialup Networking'. Find the DUN for your ISP, and from the right-click menu select connect. The dialog will ask you for your name and password, but should also give you the opportunity to tick the 'Save Password' option. For it to be saved you will have to successfully connect to your ISP.

Hope this gets it done for you.

Cheers

i've done that and connecting is ok, unfortunately the 'save password' is greyed out. What's next?
