10546	2001-03-28 02:41:00	When I am running some games I get a thumbing sound out of the PC's speakers which occurs about every 10 seconds. This causes the game to stutter. The funny thing about it is that it only occurs with certain games namely, Flight Simulator 2000 Pro & NBA 98. I have other EA Sports games (newer and older than NBA 98) and they are not affected at all. What could be causing this problem, as it only affects these games and not others? I have a Gateway Performance PIII 450 with a 32MB TNT2 video card, and PCI 64D sound card.	Guest (0)
10547	2001-03-29 09:46:00	The first thing I would do would be to go to the Gateway site and see if there are new drivers for your soundcard. They should have a files page for drivers and being as big as they are I would expect you would be able to find the right drivers for the soundcard/operating system combo fairly simply.	Guest (0)
