| 10610 | 2001-03-29 00:53:00 | My Partner has been trying to send me 3MB files compressed down using Winzip ver 5 to about 600KB as email attachments. The emails come through OK but the attachments seem to be corrupted and appear as some form of text file, not a Winzip file. The attached files have been check as being properly compressed by unzipping them at the sender's end.The received size is the same as the compressed Zip file but I am unable to open these using Winzip and the icon on the file is not the usual one for Winzip files. The sender is using Win98 and Outlook Express as the email program. Getting very frustrated |
