| 1271731 | 2012-04-24 22:46:00 | Hi all, I have a Minecraft server which I used to run with logmein hamachi but now the free limit of connections to your network has been reduced from 8 to 5 and that is far not enough for me. Are there any free alternatives which are simple and easy to use like hamachi? Please help! Regards Nikit07 |

If you don't want to, there are plenty of free/open ways to do it. They will require you to learn a little to set them up and there is many howto's and info at the end of your search engine. |

Me and my friends use it for playing games that no longer have online support over lan or for private servers. We ended up buying it in the end,alternatives were too annoying to setup. Games behaved differently with different VPN's. A 32 Slot server is only like $20 a year iirc, less than a dollar a day. |

My friend who used to play on my server got banned from hamachi by his dad because he thought it was a gateway to hackers so I need to find an alternative so he can play on it and not evolve or tunngle because they are harder to use |
