| 1249544 | 2011-12-20 21:03:00 | I think that fat salaries for top companies and local bodies and government departments are way over the top. But I also think that we are all a bit jealous. I mean if they rang us up and said Hey we'd love you to do this job we all say yes. But I don't like this argument that we have to pay those salaries to make the job comparable to xyz. Why not advertise a job they are paying 400K for at say 200K and see how many applications they get. And for all their high pay they never take any responsibility for any stuff ups. And if they do stuff up, they get sacked and then they get a big fat redundancy pay with a golden handshake ! |

All they have to do is make sure the roads and drains work etc. And all cheif executives have others beneath then doing the real work Eg a chief engineer and finance officer and personel manager etc etc. |
